My son, Kevin Johnston, and I have been competing in field trials (NSTRA) for seven years. Several weeks ago, Lefty, one of our German Shorthaired Pointers who runs and quarters faster and harder than any dog we have ever owned was running in a trial on grounds that were very hard and rocky. Lefty ran on Saturday, but on his first point on Sunday, my son noticed that blood was coming from his foot that he was holding up. Upon taking Lefty out of the brace, he noticed that all four of his feet had very raw pads, some injuries as large as quarters.
Kevin had never had this happen before, so he was in question of what to do. Kevin had competed in the Dog of the Year trial two weeks before where, luckily, he was given a sample of EMT Gel. He cleaned the pads with saline and then applied EMT Gel. The next day we followed the same procedure. We were sure Lefty would not be able to compete for several weeks, but within two days, he was much better. After four days, Lefty's pads seemed to be completely healed.
I have never felt strongly enough about a product to take the time to write a testimonial, but EMT Gel is great. We were very impressed with how the product worked on Lefty's injured pads.
Sincerely,
